Ever feel like you are waiting for the splat?
I believe I understand and have been living in the reality that Jesus told us about living in faith. It’s a scary and lonely place at times. Where did Jesus himself spend much of his time?
Alone in the “wilderness”. Have you ever asked yourself where this place truly is? It’s a place of temptation by the enemy of our soul. Remember the phrase the “wilderness of the soul”?
I believe the true walk of faith in this life and this body is a single, solitary walk in the “wilderness” (solitary) of the soul. It doesn’t mean others are never around us, but we are to spend most of our time with him. It sure would be nice to have others to walk along, but my experience has been that they quickly separate from you once the Lord has you speak words of faith beyond where they are. We are not supposed to go beyond what the “accepted level of faith” is for the group.
I have come to conclude that believing God’s Word directly as it is written and speaking it to others will cause them to separate from you. It’s like “dividing the waters” or “separating the wheat from the chaff”. When you first see it occur, it will perplex you. You see a powerful life-giving truth in his Word that is feeding you life and you attempt to share it with others and they run away from you as if you are the walking dead! Why?
I have asked this question and here is what I heard.
Did you know that the definition of a “Pharisee” is “one who separates or goes away from”? They actually run AWAY from the truth when they hear it instead of towards it.
Why does this occur?
Have you ever played the game called “find the differences” in a picture?
Well, ask yourself the question… “How old was Ahazaih when he became King”?
Then, look at these two verses, first one from 2 Chronicles 2:22 and the second from 2 Kings 8:26.
See any differences?
If you do and wonder what is going on, ask the Lord and listen. He will reveal powerful and amazing things to you from within your own heart and mind. Far beyond what you can ask or even imagine. Eph 3:20
Here is something that I pray will really encourage you today. Check out this verse in it’s original words and consider this question.
Who is it that God is telling us that practices good or evil?

The truth is indeed, VERY good my friend. May we both hear his words of truth and life in our heart, mind today.
If you hear any condemning voices today, remind yourself that God has you covered… by his blood.
And not only you, but ALL THE PEOPLE.. regardless of their external beliefs.
God’s own atoning blood is on ALL the people!
I pray this Friday is finding you resting in his grace and love.
I have been through hell the past 3-6 months. Been totally lost in darkness, chaos and confusion. Had little to no desire to search for him or read his Word. Fear crept in and was (and still is) controlling me.
Friend, I don’t know if you have ever been in a similar spot, but if you have, you know the torment and turmoil one can go through when all the things he has trusted in are crumbling all around you.
I don’t know how I will make my next house payment as business has ground to a halt. I don’t know how I will restore the connection to my teenager. I don’t know how to get reconnected. But, I do know that our loving father does and I am asking him daily to help me with these things. He must do them as I can’t. “I” am only dead weight and my ways are of the flesh which are under the “letter of the law” and only seem to kill me 2 Corinthians 3:6. I find my ways are all dead ends.
In short, I believe I have “lost Jesus” who is life. John 14:6. Simon Peter’s answer in John 6:68 is upon my heart often as I beg him to please finish the work inside soon.
Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life John 6:68
I don’t know what happened, but the Spirit seems gone. He was very active for 3 years speaking and revealing powerful things to me.
Then, sometime in April I think, it seems he just vanished. That is why I haven’t posted. It would be me attempting to fake it. Before this was impossible.
Since that time, I have not been hearing him and really struggling with darkness on and off. Most days I have no desire to even study his Word.
“What’s the use”? I hear. “Nobody seems to care what God’s word says anyway”. For me, the power comes when I get to share the awesome things I hear with others and they receive them. If no one can receive them, I can’t seem to “open the package” it seems.
Yes, but true to what I am experiencing. And have been experiencing. Life has been very dark for the most part since that time.
I do hope he returns or “unhides” himself. Lord, where are you?
These are things that took me by surprise when I first noticed them. Have you noticed?
Is God our “minds eye” who allows us to truly “see” spiritual truth?
Have you noticed that “darkness” already existed in the second verse of the entire bible?
The word is “choshek” and here is the Strong’s entry for it.
H2822 choshek kho-shek’
from H2821; the dark; hence (literally) darkness; figuratively, misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness.
KJV: dark(-ness), night, obscurity.
Have you noticed that in Isaiah 45:7 that the Lord tells us he is the one who created the darkness? Do you ever wonder when it was created?
Have you noticed that in Genesis 2:10 it says a river flowed out of Eden to water the Garden. How could this garden be in Eden?Continue reading
Who are the “Wolves in Sheep’s clothing”?
Have you ever pondered these verses and asked the Lord their true meaning?
“Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves Matt 7:15
So, what does it mean to be a “sheep” and to be in “sheep’s clothing”? Is this a religious or non-religious person? Why are they “ravaging wolves”? Who is this referring to?
Let’s look at Ezekiel 22.
“Son of man, say to her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.’ 25 There is a conspiracy of her prophets in her midst like a roaring lion tearing the prey. They have devoured lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in the midst of her. 26 Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27 Her princes within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to get dishonest gain. 28 Her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken Ez 22:24-28

Jesus tells us some very SHOCKING things. I am wondering if ANYONE actually believes these words? I have yet to meet someone who does.
You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved Matt 10:22
You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved Mark 13:13
and you will be hated by all because of My name Luke 21:17
Let me ask you this “Christ-follower” … are you hated by ALL?
Think about the person you know who knows God’s Word the best. Are THEY hated by ALL?Continue reading
Are you being un-shackled or “re-shackled” on Sunday?
Are you be RE-shackled on Sunday?
Do you ever find yourself committing to “praying more” or “praying harder” or “reading more scripture” or “attending church (more)” or “volunteering more” in order to improve your own righteousness or your standing in God’s eyes because of a message or sermon you heard?
Or, are you simply trusting in the Lord to do perform your FULL sanctification and purification?
None of the above things are bad, but we need to examine the motives of our hearts. So many of us do not take the time to stop and get quiet and ask the Lord why we are doing these things. I pray that you would take the time yourself and look into his original words of scripture on the subject.
Sadly, we are taught in Churches every Sunday that “God is not happy with you” because of “x” behavior or “x” sin. They won’t tell you directly, but our heart hears the message and the fear of the message causes us to act on our “lack”. We feel we must DO something about that sin that is NOW more than ever eating us up inside. So, we regroup and “start over”. We try harder and the cycle repeats until you crash again.Continue reading
