God's wrath is the law

What is God’s wrath?

Isn’t God’s wrath scary!?!

The Bible is very clear that God has a single day dedicated for his vengeance and terrible wrath against his enemies.

However, strangely enough, I run into MANY people who insist on being under his wrath and there is nothing I can do to convince them otherwise.

The verses about his wrath are bone-chilling!  Let’s look at a few of them.Continue reading

tabernacle of moses

Does the tabernacle of Moses represent the 3 parts of man?

I hope to share some powerful truths that will allow us to see God’s inner and true makeup of man himself by looking at the Tabernacle of Moses in the Old Testament.

I am praying the Lord will reveal to us how the Old Covenant tabernacle along with the book of Hebrews unveils God’s amazing plan of salvation for man. It involves both the first and last Adam as they each represent all mankind.  I hope he will also show us how all of creation is “in” Adam whether it is the first or “last Adam”. This is very powerful to understand as we begin to see a deeper spiritual understanding or real truth of both the first Adam but more importantly, what God did for all mankind with the last Adam who is Christ.  Before I do that, please allow me to share something from my heart.Continue reading

Happy Birthday old guy

Happy Birthday!

Yesterday I posted an article called “The Best Birthday Gift Ever” and I am sorry to report that the Spirit led me off into the wilderness and I never actually got to share what the gift was!  🙂 I kept getting taken down side roads to more powerful thoughts and ideas. As the ideas unpacked, my original “plan” of sharing this amazing gift was pushed by the wayside. To keep this post from being 10-20 pages, I left it out and I hope to be able to deliver on my promise soon.  Actually, as I read my posts since then, God has already integrated it into the things being shared!  His ways are amazing and he just “does it” without me even have to think consciously about it.  Additionally, I also shared some radical ideas I have from Genesis 1 and 2 on the creation of man in that post yesterday.  I removed those and will work them into a separate post.  I am still learning here and I appreciate your patience and grace. I simply don’t yet know how to keep these things I am sharing to a small and manageable size as my heart gets so excited and runs off like a wild stallion.

Today, I hear thoughts that I have shared before about how man communicates and more importantly, how he receives truth.  As you can see, I am just learning how to do this myself!  🙂  I believe this will greatly bless you as you ponder these ideas.  If I can help at all, please contact me.  I would love to help in any way I can.  I will share my ponderings in a separate post of how man communicates in this realm of darkness and how he receives truth.

Have a great day.

*** Updated 06/08/14 3:27pm ****  I have removed and created a separate post where I share my latest ongoing theory of Adam and Genesis 1 and mankind.  This can be found here but I strongly suggest you read the “intro” below first under “Old Creation Vs. New (true) Creation” to prep your mind for my radical ideas.  🙂

Yesterday was my birthday and I have received the most absolutely BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER. God revealed a huge missing piece of the creation story that I have been digging for a long time, and I want to share with you. They will bless you beyond belief and absolutely boggle your human mind when it sinks into your heart! Two nights ago a good friend came over and allowed me to “dump” the latest things that I am seeing and hearing.  This “bubbles up” from from hundreds of hours of deep and intense study and quiet pondering of God’s powerful Word while drastically reducing all worldly forms of media.Continue reading

There are SO MANY verses that are so good that it is IMPOSSIBLE for our natural human mind to believe.  This is because they are spiritual truths outside the natural, physical realm that the natural mind can’t see.  Thus, we rarely hear them taught or shared.  This can be frustrating because these are verses and powerful truths the world NEEDS to HEAR and SEE! Everyone is so hungry be loved and accepted by God and others.  These are two foundational needs for all humans.  Is it finally time our eyes are opened to these most powerful verses?  Is it time we begin allowing the truth to live through us to all those around us?

Check these powerful verses out and think about what they are saying.  If they weren’t God’s very Word, we would write them off as “New Age”!Continue reading

Law = Death

The law is always death for man

This verse JUMPED out at me yesterday as it tells us what God thinks of the wisdom of the person who teaches law or doing anything to obtain your own righteousness.  Look at who he lumps them in with below in 1 Cor 1:20:

Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?  1 Corinthians 1:20 NIV

God lumps in the one who teaches law in with the same group as the person who thinks they are “wise”, the “philosopher of this age” and equates all of them to the “foolish wisdom of the world”.

Teaching people the “Law” is called “Legalism” and it is believing and teaching people to live under any set of rules or Commandments for righteousness or goodness.  However, it is even more deeply seated and subtle than that.  It’s can also be defined as:

  1. Doing anything to change ourselves
  2. Doing anything to change or our standing with God or try to “earn” favor
  3. Doing anything to get something from God

Do we really understand what this means?  I don’t believe we really do because the majority of current Christianity teaches law and is really teaching the basis of Judaism or the OLD Covenant.Continue reading

I believe I must have been dreaming. I have always been a big “dreamer” I guess.

It has fed me lots of hope during times of darkness to get me “through”. Isn’t it the hope that really keeps us getting up each day and pressing forward? Hope that things will be better and even completely “made right” one day by our loving father and Lord Jesus?

Maybe it’s just me, but I have really been enamored with the beauty of the Lord’s body called the Church. Lately, I have been seeing her through the eyes of faith. She is extremely beautiful, righteous and lovely and the whole world flocks to her for their true needs.Continue reading

God's holy fire

Is God’s Holy fire destructive or refining?

(You can find more on this topic at this post.)

I hope you are having a great day.  I had to take a few days off due to a back injury during weightlifting.  Don’t we take our bodies for granted until pain and age sets in?  I know I do.

I have been spending some time on some Christian forums and it’s been very good.  God is really doing some amazing things these days to unveil our minds to the truth.   I am finding people ARE open to hear and DIG for the truth.  This is a great blessing when we encounter it.

A big topic of discussion that I have been involved in is the proper definition of God’s “fire”.  Isn’t this a bone-chilling verse?

And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire Rev 20:15 NASB

When reading this, it is hard to even imagine people being thrown alive into a lake of FIRE and them burning up alive.  How could God ever do that?  Isn’t he the very definition of “love”?

What if we have misunderstood the very meaning of the word “fire”?  What if God’s fire is totally DIFFERENT than the physical realm fire that we know of?  Could it be that God’s fire is not destructive like the (physical realm) fire we know of?

Let’s dig into it just a bit.

Many are not aware of the TRUE definition of words translated as “fire” and others like “eternal” and “torture”.  They are different than we have been taught and I so excited to see God revealing this powerful truth at the end of this current age.  It has been a pleasure to share them with others.  Check out this post if you are interested.  For now, here is the Strong’s concordance and Helps Word-studies definitions of God’s “fire”.  It is the Greek word “pur” where we get the English words “purification” and “purity” from.

Strong’s Concordance
pur: fire
Original Word: πῦρ, πυρός, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: pur
Phonetic Spelling: (poor)
Short Definition: fire, trials
Definition: fire; the heat of the sun, lightning; fig: strife, trials; the eternal fire.

We can see some of the Strong’s definitions including “eternal fire” and “trials”.  Below is the Helps Word-studies definition.

HELPS Word-studies
4442 pýr fire. In Scripture, fire is often used figuratively – like with the “fire of God” which transforms all it touches into light and likeness with itself

God’s Spirit, like a holy fire, enlightens and purifies so that believers can share more and more in His likeness. Indeed the fire of God brings the uninterrupted privilege of being transformed which happens by experiencing faith from Him. Our lives can become true offerings to Him as we obey this imparted faith from God by His power.

[This is illustrated by God’s fire burning continuously at the entrance of the Tabernacle where the priests made sweet-savor offerings. Compare Lev 6:12,13 with 1 Pet 2:5,9.]

You can see initially some amazing things there that I highlighted and I would like to share more on this soon as the Lord allows.  There also other mistranslated words of which sometimes WHOLE doctrines are based upon, that make God look evil and hideous.  This is sad because he is defined as love and if we don’t understand the truth, we will misrepresent him.   Shouldn’t “love” always do what is BEST for us?  Shouldn’t love always find a way to be WITH us instead of destroying us?  Are we to say that we know “love” better than God does?  Some things to ponder.

You can find this out yourself by checking out verses like Rev 20:15 at biblehub.com and click on the words translated as “fire” to see the Strong’s number 4442 and the Helps Word-studies information that I provide above.  Here is the verse:

And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire Rev 11:15 NASB

Here’s a direct link to the meaning of “fire” that I provided.  http://biblehub.com/greek/4442.htm

May we be open to the truth that the Spirit reveals to us.

Have an awesome day of rest in the Lord.

Who is the Master?

Who is the Master?

I pray you are doing better than my body is today.  I injured myself lifting weights 5 days ago and now I REALLY know what a sciatic nerve is.  How painful!  Don’t we take our bodies for granted until they rebel?  I know I sure do it seems.

I want to share something very powerful that God finally revealed to me today.  Something I have been digging and digging on yet couldn’t find the connection so I let it go and “simmer”.  God can make that happen in a flash and I guess he felt today was the time.  It’s so cool when he allows that to happen, isn’t it?

Thus, today I had a powerful breakthrough on Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 man. I knew for a while now that Genesis 1 man is/was fully spiritual with full spiritual reigning power of the spiritual realm of “Earth” whereas Genesis 2 man (Adam) was physical and natural including his spirit! It’s important to know that even his spirit was “natural” so that’s why I repeated it. Natural just means “downgraded”, “not full strength”, or submissive and veiled to God or spiritual things.   We know natural man is completely veiled to the things of God and can not see or understand them right?

Here is where it went “POP” today when I was reading a “discussion” between two guys on a forum about Genesis 6:1-5 about the “sons of God” marrying the “daughters of men”.  This set of verses has always intrigued me. This is really cool. I hope you stay with me on this and think about it carefully while digging into Gen 1, 2 and Romans 6-8 again after reading this.  I believe you will see what I am saying.

Remember how Genesis 1 it says that mankind were made “male and female”? For the longest time God had not revealed what that meant because I was totally convinced it was powerful spiritual man who rules Earth’s spiritual kingdom and NOT the natural or physical creation.  Please note that both Genesis 1 and 2 man rules over the “beasts” and animals of the earth, birds of the air and fish of the sea.  However, Genesis 1 is the spiritual realm and they are not physical animals and physical fish but rather fallenangels or “birds” and fallen man or “beasts”, etc.  In Genesis 2, it IS the physical realm or the actual animals and fish and birds that Adam (physical man) would rule over.  This is the realm we are familiar with.  They are different realms completely though from Genesis 1 (spiritual) and Genesis 2 (natural, physical)!

They are two completely different “mankind” from Genesis 1 and Genesis 2!  One is spiritual in Genesis 1 and one is physical or natural in Genesis 2.

Ok, with that background in place, think about marriage and the creation of offspring. The “husband” or male produces the “seed” and joins with the “wife” to produce offspring. This would mean that Genesis 1 male spiritual being is the leader and more powerful one and that the Genesis 1 female spiritual being is the more submissive one that is dominated or ruled over by the male spirit. Are you with me so far?

If so, just who are these “male” or dominate powerful spirit beings and “female” submissive spirit beings.

Well, the “female” spirit of Genesis 1 man is none other than “fallen” or natural mankind’s human spirit! It or “she” is controlled and taken into captivity from birth by who? Well, the husband or male (ruler or “father”) spirit of Genesis 1! Can you guess who this is? Who is the ruler of this present fallen world (still)? Who is the personification or “father of sin”?

Let’s look at some scripture to find out.

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. (John 8:44)

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. (1 John 3:8)

These verses are NOT METAPHORS!  Jesus was telling the absolute, solemn truth here!  The Devil REALLY WAS the “father” or “husband” of the unbelieving person he was talking to.  He was married to their spirit and controlled their spirit keeping it under the power of darkness so it was unable to see God and have any faith.  Amazing huh?  Sounds crazy?  Think about it a while.  It will come to you if you are open to the truth.

Satan is really Genesis 1 male Spirit! How he got that position is a whole other topic, but all indications show that he started good (maybe as Lucifer in Is 14) and sinned and became “darkness” and “evil”. He gained power and control of all Earth’s spiritual realm and all mankind’s spirits who are the “female” or submissive side of Genesis 1 mankind but also the physical beings (Adam) in Genesis 2. When he inhabits one, he is it’s “master” or “husband”.

Satan IS sin and the “father” or originator of ALL sin just like Jesus IS righteousness and the source of all righteousness!

This is very powerful because now you can go and read Romans 6-8 and anytime you see “sin” put the word “Satan” in there. Anytime you see the word “righteousness” put “Jesus” in there. Believers and unbelievers spirits (and souls) are the “wives” or “bride” and Jesus or Satan is the husband. Satan and his “wives” (unbelieving, natural spirits and souls) are under the power of darkness which is the law! This is sin and death which separates him and unbelievers from God.  God tells us in the OT that he “wrapped him (Lucifer/Satan) in darkness”.  I believe it is in Ezekiel but you can dig into it.  It’s really amazing.

Thus, at new (spiritual) rebirth, a person’s soul and spirit becomes joined or “married” to Christ who IS righteousness. The person is no longer attached to “sin” or Satan in any way (as Christ is now their husband FOREVER!) but their body will die because it is still part of the natural creation yet under the curse. It still has this power of death in it (sin/separation) and must die. But, the person is now fully ONE with LIFE and RIGHTEOUSNESS who IS CHRIST to live FOREVER!

Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.  (John 6:47)

Jesus is the TRUE Genesis 1 spiritual MAN (while Satan is the FALSE version of this fallen World) or the “male” part of God’s spirit that finally joins with natural man’s spirit (and soul) to make him WHOLE finally!

This is so amazing and I thank the Lord for finally revealing this connection. Suddenly so many things are coming together especially when God talks about marriage. He is REALLY talking about the union of a person’s soul/spirit with Christ or Satan. They are either a slave (married) to sin as unbeliever or a slave (married) to righteousness as believer with NO mixing EVER!  All the old creation is under the curse of darkness/separation and WILL DIE.  But, the GREAT news is that the blood has reconciled ALL creation and ALL creation will PASS THROUGH IT to be REBORN!

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:19)

Isn’t this amazing? This, my friend is the TRUE and most amazing sovereign plan of God!

Now, you can go back through Romans 6-8 and see a whole NEW story.  The truth!

Have a great Sunday.

Do you ever think about what it means to be a “Human being“?

I realize that almost all of my life I have been a human “doing” always striving and struggling to become something other than what I simply was.  I never ever really arrived at the place I was trying to reach.   I have concluded it was all an illusion.  I believe this is a struggle of the entire human family.

I see it in myself, my family, my children.  Everyone I know. I believe is why it has always been so difficult connecting with and talking to the family I grew up in.  They were and still are a strong family of “doers”. They have always been this way and most of their existence still to this day is based on “doing” to become or striving.  This was my struggle, but God seemed to have different plans.  God started putting me through his refining fire and I had to let go of “doing to become.  I simply no choice when faced with thick impenetrable walls of hopelessness.  I kept being put into situations that where there was nothing I could do but surrender.  It was very difficult, but I had to let go and learn to fully trust God.  For me, this is ongoing as I do pick it back up at times and believe I am still “running the show”.  I  have found that this “striving to become” is much stronger in men than women as men are very task oriented. Men are also much more disconnected from their true heart and feelings because of this.  I know coming from a family of six men, no girls and having two boys myself. I see it in my boys, my brothers and myself.  Men are trained in this culture to be this way.  Coincidence?  I don’t think so.  I believe they are completely related.  The more task oriented a person is, the more they are disconnected from their true being, their true heart and true feelings.  They do not know who they are.

Am I wrong?  I don’t think I am.

This all changes when God begins to break the outer man who is based ondoing“.  This is not a pleasant event or process.  It feels like death and that’s what the Bible calls it – death of “self”.  It is all part of the “baptism of fire” when a person is immersed or “baptized” into God’s very Spirit.  Check out Matt 3:11:

“As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matt 3:11)

God’s fire does hurt like a place that is VERY hot, but it doesn’t destroy you.  God’s fire is not destructive like fire in the natural realm.  His fire really refines you and removes the “dross” like a good blacksmith does to gold.  God’s fire are all the difficult and painful life circumstances that we are put in where we found ourselves helpless or powerless.  It is painful and man calls it “death to self”. This selfish outer man is the blindness that keeps us from not only seeing God, but seeing ourselves, our true self as well.  This selfish outer man is very clever and deceptive and he will use any and all things to remain on the throne.  He is very clever at hiding in religious activities so we can’t “see” him.  God sees him though as he can’t hide from God.  God will break him.  Once God breaks him and the outer man finally cracks, then and only then can LIFE spring forth from the living waters that Jesus promised – the Spirit of God himself.  Then God can really use a person for his Kingdom purposes of Life.  The life that flows out is God’s very life of Christ inside but we must experience first death just like he did in order to experience his life.  See 2 Cor 4:10.

always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body (2 Cor 4:10)

Is this just for “believers”?

Not according to Jesus in Mark 9:49.

For everyone will be salted with fire Mark 9:49

All of us enter into this world believing WE are God and in charge of our lives.  Our self-powered and “self-willed” life truly must die first in order to live our true and real life – Christ.  When this begins to occur a person truly begins to enter rest because they stop “doing to become” and instead truly realize they are already there!  But it is not without a lot of struggle to “let go”.  They will also begin to see all the painful circumstances and things that happened in their life as all part of God’s sovereign plan and purpose for them.  This is a powerful and intimate time with God and they will realize something else very basic yet amazing.

They are a human “be”-ing.

They no longer “do”, they just “be”.  They are entering the 7th spiritual day of God’s rest.  They have entered the “promised land” of God – Christ himself.   Now, this is all experience only.  They were already there in their true inner man, their spirit man when they believed.  But, now that truth is manifesting or breaking through to their outer, natural man where our experience or “soul” takes place.  Now we actually see it happening in our normal, everyday life.

This is an amazingly powerful transformation process that is very painful at times, but when they get across the river Jordan there are many rewards. They know many new things.  They know that Christ really DID finish the work at the cross. Christ really did fully and finally complete Adam. Of course, this is all true in the realm of truth or the spirit for now, but this is where man starts to know this. Deep inside himself. It is from this deep place that this powerful truth begins to give him rest. And then it works its way outward to his outer man and into the natural physical realm.

And begins to KILL him. That’s right. It destroys him. The outer man has to die.  He is all about “doing” and not “being”.  He does not understand the finished work.  He has NO faith but is only under law due to self-righteousness.  I don’t mean he has to die physically, but that is the ULTIMATE finale of him.  I hope he will “die” or surrender before the body dies, but it is up to the father.  I mean he has to stop “trying” to become and trying to strive to become something other than who God says he is.  He has put us under law and we have received his condemnation, guilt and shame far too long.   He has to be shut up. God will shut him up. That is what the law does. It shuts up and puts to death the outer man or the flesh. He will eventually surrender if God wills it while the body is alive.  If not he will fully surrender (die) when our natural body dies.  Hopefully, it is before he dies physically. Once he is “dead”, then and only then, can a person’s TRUE life spring forth who is CHRIST himself!

But, he is very clever as he hides in our fallen human bodies.  He will NOT give up the fight completely until our natural bodies die.  He is always trying to work his way back onto the throne of your life in very subtle, clever and deceptive ways.   I suspect he is even writing part of this message.  We have to continue to ask God to show him to us so we can stand still and allow God to kill him again.  This process called “repentance” is ongoing and the quicker we can do this the less pain we feel.  It really is an ongoing process to fight and stay in God’s rest.

Entering God’s rest

Once the outer man gives up and “dies”, then a person can enter the true rest, God’s rest of the 7th day. It can’t be entered by any law-based thinking of the outer man or by any part of the outer, natural man as that is the one who is against us here. Only Joshua (Jesus) can take you across the Jordan to the land of Canaan (promised land of rest).  And you can only get there by the full death (surrender) of the outer man.  This happens once the father stops the “waters” of the Jordan” that were stopped all the way back to the city of Adam!

Do you see the powerful thing God has been telling us in the Old Testament?

Once a person experiences this most powerful crossing of the Jordan with Jesus their guide, they realize they really do NO LONGER LIVE and that it really is Christ who lives in and through them.  Gal 2:20   They have entered the true rest of God.  They have tasted of the Heavenly realm and will not want anything else.  They will cross back and forth over the Jordan in their experiences, but they themselves always remain in Canaan.  God will continue to provide victory and rest as we stay close to his feet and stare into his eyes.

This is one powerful experience my friend that I hope and pray we will all experience if we haven’t already.  It’s FULL surrender of EVERYTHING!  For some of us like me who are very stubborn, it takes a lot of pain and suffering to arrive at.  The reward is most awesome I believe.

This is the beginning of a person’s real and true life – Christ.

Enjoy this journey.
