“Fire and Hail” or a Wedding reception?

Will God really reign down fire or hail upon us?

Will God really reign down fire and hail upon us?

Once again this morning, I woke hearing a conversation.

Once I was fully awake, I began writing it down.  This experience is like if you have ever gone camping with others and they awake before you do and sit and talk in the background while you are sleeping.  When you “awake” you start to hear and understand more of what is being said.  Then, when I was fully “awake” today, it stopped.

As I was studying the scriptures that I was led to (based on what I heard), they prompted me to write this message. I apologize for the serious tone of it. I think a person who knows God and his character will be amazed by it as was I.

But first, lets build a little “foundation”.

I don’t know what you see and believe, but I see God as ONE with no separation in him at all. I see him as outside of space and time with no division (of time or separation via space). For him things don’t occur in a linear or “broken up” format like we experience (being trapped in space and time). Because he is outside of time, the “old” is not “old” nor is the “new” new. It’s all ONE for him and plays out whenever he says it will. It could even happen multiple times or even repeatedly. He can make the “end” occur FIRST and “the beginning” last, can’t he? It’s totally his call, isn’t it?

Now, with those confusing thoughts in mind, do you ever wonder “When the ‘last day’ or ‘days’ will occur?”

Or has it ALREADY occurred? Or is it somehow occurring now? This is the crazy stuff my mind thinks about.

With those thoughts about God in mind, let’s think a little about what scripture reveals about “the last days” or the “day of he Lord”.

What will it be like? Will there be death and carnage for all natural things or will they be changed (reborn) immediately as spiritual?

If you study Revelation, it surely feels like death and carnage, doesn’t it? There is fire, earthquakes and hail. Check these verses out.

The first sounded, and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up Revelation 8:7

And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, *came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague *was extremely severe Revelation 16:21

I can’t imagine what a hailstone of a hundred pounds would be like, can you? That would be severe destruction, wouldn’t it?

As I was pondering these things, suddenly, as if from a FLASH of lightning from the “sky”, thoughts took me to the “hail” in Exodus that fell on “the field”. Remember in Exodus “9” when the Lord tells Moses what his plans are?

This may be a crazy stretch of a thought…. but…. it is where it seems I was being led.   Could they be related somehow?

Could the “Exodus” of the “old” also be speaking of the “Exodus” from THIS world?  Have you ever noticed there are two of everything in the Bible?  Is it possible that “the Exodus” occurs twice?  I know it sounds crazy, but let’s entertain the idea for a bit and look at the scriptures.  Let’s look at Exodus 9:19 (I think it’s also wise to pay attention to the numbers God uses)

Send therefore now, and gather thy cattle and all that thou hast in the field, for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field and shall not be brought home, the hail shallcome down upon them, and they shall die.’” Exodus 9:19

Could God’s name for this current world be called “the field”?  Look at the words of Jesus in Matt 13:38.

and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one Matthew 13:38

I can’t help but seriously wonder….

Should we stop separating the “new” from the “old” but instead be trying desperately to “reconcile them as one”? Could this help us to understand better what is coming?

If so, who exactly are we in this world right now in a natural body? Are we part of Israel somehow, or are we (outwardly) still considered as “beasts of the field”?  Are we truly “in the world”?  Look at what Jesus says in John 17.

I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one John 17:14-15

According to Jesus, we are definitely still in “the world” or “the field”.  Or least part of us is…

So, I wonder… “When will the “last day” or the “day of the Lord” occur? Will it occur on the (hour) “9” when at least some of us make an “Exodus” from this world?”  (Compare the “hour” when the body of Christ actually dies in the cross.)

Check the below verses out. It is amazing.

Could the “old” (Testament) and the “new” (Testament) each be a part of the ONE, body of the Lord that he is “marrying” together?

Could the very “connection”, joining or reconciling of the old (testament) with the “new” (testament) be part of this very “marriage”?

This hit me today a ton of bricks just now.  Look at the number “12”.  God loves this number. We think of it as the beginning of “maturity”.

Look closer at it… in a very simple way.  What two numbers are joined or “married” together?

Is it not the “joining” or the “marriage” of (the) “one” with (the) “two”?

Please stop there and ponder this simple yet very profound idea before going to the next thought or you might miss it.

Is it possible there is truly one single, unique, spiritual man above called “him” who will marry in holy union the “two below” called “them”?   (There are many more examples of this “one above but two below” concept.)

Am I the only one who see’s both a “him” (created in God’s OWN image) and a “them” (created as male and female) in Genesis 1:27?

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them Gen 1:27

If this “marriage” of the “one” and the “two” in “12” truly does happen, when does this occur?  Is this on the big “wedding day” of the “third day”?  John 2.  Could this be the true “marriage supper of the lamb”?  Rev 19:9

Sorry, I am getting way ahead of myself in positive excitement.

Let’s get back to the fire and hail that we hear so often.  You know, “because God hates sin and he is a ‘holy God'”.  The very same sin that all of us were forced with since birth.  Sorry, I will admit I am being sarcastic.  Please forgive me.  I get frustrated in my humanity at times.

If we got back to Exodus 9:19, did you notice that some brought their “cattle” into their “houses”?  Strange, huh?  Which ones did this?

Did they really bring their “cattle” into their “houses”?  Or does “house” mean something else?

What is a “house” according to God? Psalm 92:13, 1 Peter 4:17, Hebrews 3:6. Of course we all know and love Psalm 84:10.

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness Psalm 84:10

Is it possible that right now, the natural body that we are dwelling in… is the “tents of the wicked”?

So, what is a “house” in God’s eyes?

Is it a physical building or is it a “dwelling place” that we live in? Is it possibly our very spiritual “body” that only God can see?

Please check out Exodus 9:19 below in an interlinear version while paying close attention to the numbers. I have shared about these before and I am so excited by what God reveals with them! I am absolutely convinced that “3”, “6”, “9” and “12” are very special “signs” with God (as are other numbers).

Let’s look at Exodus 9:19 while opening your mind’s eye (imagination).

Exodus 9:19

Could God be talking about what is going to happen in our current world in the “last day(s)”?  Let’s keep looking and listening to what we hear.

So, exactly who listened to the “Word of the Lord” and came into the “houses”? (See Exodus 9:20 below)

Exodus 9:20

Who are the “servants of Pharaoh” who “believed the word of the Lord” and “fled into the houses”?  Could it be the believers of this age?

According to Exodus 11:5, who isn’t going to make it? Who is going to die?

Exodus 11:5

Notice, “when” it happens. It happens on a very specific night. It’s the night of “12”, isn’t it?

Exodus 12:2

Also, at a very specific time. What is the very specific time God set for this?

Exodus 12:29

Is there yet ANOTHER connection or “marriage” between the old and the new that is going on here?

Did Jesus maybe already mention and somehow we missed it? But, maybe from a different and MUCH HIGHER perceptive?

Remember the parable of the “10 virgins” in Matthew 25?  Could there be more “truth” to his words than we realize?

Matthew 25:6

Did you notice the time?

We know that some of the “virgins were wise” and “some were foolish”. The “foolish” virgins didn’t make it into the wedding.

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. 3 For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, 4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. 5 Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. 6 But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ 7 Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour  Matthew 25:1-13

Why do you suppose there was a “cry”? Is this somehow related to the “death of the firstborn” in the “fields of Egypt”?

Was “Rachael weeping over the loss of all of her children”? If so, who exactly is “Rachel”?

“A voice was heard in Ramah, Weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children; And she refused to be comforted, Because they were no more.”  Matthew 2:18

Something to ponder and ask the Lord about and dig into, don’t you think?

Also, remember, in “the Exodus”, what fell on all those who were out in “the field”?

Hail, right?

Could we have possibly been given ANOTHER clue about this many times and completely missed it?

Ponder this verse:

and they began to acclaim Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”  Mark 15:18

Could this be referring to a specific type of “hail” that will appear when the true “King of the Jews” does?

Exodus 9:18

I wonder if we should take notice and look into these things?

I seem to repeatedly hear about them. When I wake up hearing them very strongly, I surely take notice. He does say this in his word about “the last days”, doesn’t he?

But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words. 15 For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only the third hour of the day; 16 but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel:

17 ‘And it shall be in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams; 18 Even on My bondslaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit And they shall prophesy. 19 ‘And I will grant wonders in the sky above And signs on the earth below, Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 ‘The sun will be turned into darkness And the moon into blood, Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come. 21 ‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’  Acts 2:14-21

I am not saying this applies to me, but it sure seems relevant.

Isn’t it interesting that “the moon will be turned to blood”?  He also tells us that “the life is in the blood” Leviticus 17:11.  Maybe this isn’t the actual, physical moon?  Maybe this is a “spiritual” moon?  Whatever that is…

Wait, I have an idea.  Very crazy one… but think about it if you will.

What if God has been revealing these things to us since the beginning of time in the very creation?  Romans 1:19-20

Could the “Earth” be our body, the “waters” of the earth be our spirit and the “moon” be our natural soul (which is really a “reflection” created under law)? Hebrews 10:1, Colossians 2:17  Well, of course, you know who the “sun” is, right?  The one who is the “light of all men“. John 1:9

This is so crazy, I just have to say it again…

Could the “moon” be the part of our being, our (false) soul that is “separated” from our true body, the Earth?  The part of us that “appeared out there” when our body (Earth) was put under law and caused us to see an “image” of ourselves?  You know, the part we see and think we are in the natural body but isn’t the true substance of who we REALLY are?

I know, crazy thoughts.

Want to hear something even more crazy? Please keep this to yourself if you could please.

I was sharing part of this with my teen son today after he showed me a music video that had the “moon landing” in it.  While watching it, I heard (and was reminded) that I was born on the “6th” month of the “6th” day or the year “6”…9. You know, the time when “man landed on the moon“.  That’s either really bad or really good.  You can decide.

Put all this together and ponder it if it sounds interesting…  Or toss it as insane.

What do you think?

Could this be a “sign”? Or am I full of it?

I already know I am full of “it”.  I just am not sure what “it” is.

God bless.
