Are you being un-shackled or “re-shackled” on Sunday?
Do you ever find yourself committing to “praying more” or “praying harder” or “reading more scripture” or “attending church (more)” or “volunteering more” in order to improve your own righteousness or your standing in God’s eyes because of a message or sermon you heard?
Or, are you simply trusting in the Lord to do perform your FULL sanctification and purification?
None of the above things are bad, but we need to examine the motives of our hearts. So many of us do not take the time to stop and get quiet and ask the Lord why we are doing these things. I pray that you would take the time yourself and look into his original words of scripture on the subject.
Sadly, we are taught in Churches every Sunday that “God is not happy with you” because of “x” behavior or “x” sin. They won’t tell you directly, but our heart hears the message and the fear of the message causes us to act on our “lack”. We feel we must DO something about that sin that is NOW more than ever eating us up inside. So, we regroup and “start over”. We try harder and the cycle repeats until you crash again.
This is the law of Moses being fed to us… and it is putting a veil over your mind and heart to the truth of your TRUE freedom in Christ.
But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart 2 Cor 3:15
Is your Church putting the VEIL OF MOSES over your heart and blinding you to the truth by teaching you to try to live under the Old Covenant and “obey the commandments”? If so, you are being fed darkness and death. And it’s cutting you off from the very grace found in Jesus Christ as you are being taught to try to be justified by the law (which is IMPOSSIBLE).
But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ 2 Cor 3:14
You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace Gal 5:4
When the Lord reveals this powerful truth to us, our lives will change DRAMATICALLY after we repent by changing our minds and agreeing with him at his very Word. We will walk out from under the death of the Old Covenant and the power of sin (which is the law). 1 Cor 15:56
The old covenant and the power of sin is so clever and deceptive. It appears so subtly to us. Gen 3:1.
It always starts with the pointing out of sin as BEHAVIOR or actions whether “doing” or “not doing”. Either one will eat you up inside once pointed out. Either one will put your under the power of law and the very power of SIN ITSELF!
See, here is the secret that they don’t yet see.
Pointing out any “sin” IS GIVING SIN POWER! “Sin” in its simplest form is BELIEVING that you “lack” or are “missing” what you need in that moment. In these bodies, we will never externally have ALL that the body desires until they are made fully new. They will always perceive a lack in some form and that is a big portion of the battle – to overcome that “perceived lack” or shortcoming. We must remind ourselves that the Lord provides all we need when we need it. Being “without” something isn’t the sin, but believing you are is.
True sin is unbelief. John 16:9.
So, when anyone points out “sin” as behavior they are pointing out what you personally may be perceiving as “missing”. This sets you on a HUNT in your heart to try to “go and get that THING” you believe you lack. However, this is impossible. You are chasing a shadow and an illusion. Friend, you already have that thing but simply do not yet see it.
The key is to ask the Lord to manage that “need” or “desire” for you and reveal the truth to you.
What the blind Pharisee’s (who point out sin as behavior) don’t see or realize is that everything they point out any sin as behavior, they are actually PUTTING THE PEOPLE UNDER MORE SIN and DARKNESS! They are giving the power of SIN much more power. It’s very subtle working inside us, but it’s very powerful.
This is why it’s never a good idea to focus on or think about what we LACK. This creates more lack inside us and depression and frustration. We are to focus on what we DO have and be very thankful for it.
So, today it is my prayer that you are leaving all your “sins” and behaviors you don’t like for the Lord to manage. He is fully in charge of what you “have” and “don’t have” right now at this moment. It’s his responsibility. Ours is to just let go and trust him in all situations.
Please don’t follow the churches teachings that often try to get you to sanctify yourself. This is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord as we are “sanctifying ourselves” and making our own atonement and sacrifice above and beyond his own. Check out Isaiah 66:1-6 carefully.
Thus says the Lord,
“Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool.
The word “and the earth” is ONE WORD and not two. This is “the-earth” wrapped around with the flesh of “and”. This is the natural body where darkness resides.
Where then is a house you could build for Me?
And where is a place that I may rest?
2 “For My hand made all these things,
His had made your current body, life and current existence and state of being. He is in charge of all things and all circumstances as he is INSIDE ALL things. Col 3:11.
Thus all these things came into being,” declares the Lord.
“But to this one I will look,
To him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My word.
We are to allow the circumstances and trials of our life and body (that HE ARRANGES) to bring us to him and HIS feet in humble submission.
3 “But he who kills an ox is like one who slays a man;
He who sacrifices a lamb is like the one who breaks a dog’s neck;
He who offers a grain offering is like one who offers swine’s blood;
He who burns incense is like the one who blesses an idol.
As they have chosen their own ways,
And their soul delights in their abominations,
We are not to try to change ourselves in our own power (sacrifices) but be where he puts us and let him do the work.
4 So I will choose their punishments
And will bring on them what they dread.
Because I called, but no one answered;
I spoke, but they did not listen.
And they did evil in My sight
And chose that in which I did not delight.”
5 Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word:
“Your brothers who hate you, who exclude you for My name’s sake,
Have said, ‘Let the Lord be glorified, that we may see your joy.’
But they will be put to shame.
When we are hearing and truly following him, we will have people who hate and exclude us for doing the hard and scary things he calls us to do.
6 “A voice of uproar from the city, a voice from the temple,
The voice of the Lord who is rendering recompense to His enemies Isaiah 66:1-6
Here is the solemn truth according to his true Word.
In our natural outer man we are of ourselves 100% sin and will never be even 1%. If we are regenerated within in our inner man, then we are 100% sinless within and our outer man is being constantly atoned for.
There is NO mixture of these percentages as that is “leavening of the law” and God HATES that.
They never go to 99% or 1%. They are always 100%. What they don’t yet see is that our current outer man and his body is the very dying body of Christ himself and the death of our body IS the death of his body.
We are “wearing” our own atonement suit – his body.
His very spiritual body is STILL dying. In Matthew and Mark, he is STILL on the spiritual cross dying a spiritual death. I have yet to meet anyone else who actually believes his original Words on these verses, but I do. So I am speaking the pure truth to you. I want YOU to see the truth and be set free from the darkness we are taught every Sunday. The original Word of God is always 100% true and it can speak as though it is DONE because the Lord IS already at the end of the death as well. We are still experiencing it personally while in the dying body.
always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body 2 Cor 4:10
We ALWAYS carry his death with us in our bodies. Why?
For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection Romans 6:5
First so we can have his life manifested NOW in bursts of living waters and finally so we can be in the likeness of HIS resurrection. We are his BODY and he is waiting in Heaven for it to be made new just like WE ARE.
Once our natural body (including the separate “self” we believe exists) fully dies, we will be fully set from all sin both as BEHAVIOR and UNBELIEF (the two types) and our outer man will JOIN the inner man Christ in 100% freedom from all sin.
Until that time, if you find yourself in unbelief, simply ask him to “help you with your unbelief” and go WHEREVER he leads you and LISTEN TO ALL PEOPLE and SITUATIONS that come into your life. He exists IN and AS all things and in order to test your faith, he will appear in the most unlikely of places.
