Who is Lazarus? (and SO MUCH MORE!)

Good morning friends and fellow seekers of truth.

I pray you are seeking and finding Christ (who is truth AND life) in the written Word and especially inside your heart.  He alone is life and peace.  If you are, I am so happy that you are one of his “sheep who know his voice”.  He puts his voice inside some of the strangest “containers” sometimes, doesn’t he?  – The foolish things of the world.

This and the next paragraph are deep spiritual words.  Feel free to skip them if you want to get to the topic at hand as these thoughts and ideas come after MUCH deep scripture reflection and thinking.  I apologize as this happens often and when it does, only the Spirit of Christ can reveal the meaning of these words he is feeding your real self inside (who is ALSO HIM!) through “me” and “you” (our outer, natural man).  To our natural, outer mind spiritual words (hidden truth) will be pure nonsense.  Just to be sure, I am not Christ, but I am inside him and he works THROUGH me AND YOU whether you realize it or not.  We are an “Image” of him and he is the “image” of the father.  The “me” and the “I” that he uses and works through is the outer man who is dying and will become FULLY one with the Lord when this happens.  This is “life swallowing up death” as Paul told us.  It is happening now in everyone of us.  The separateness of the “I” is dying and is becoming ONE with Christ.

The past two weeks he has been taking me deeper and deeper.  So deep that I feel I can’t write about most of it, however I am sure in a moment of the strong presence of the Spirit, HE WILL SPEAK.  These are the things that SHOCK the religious outer man of the “I” or “me” who always believes he is separate from God and must die to become one with him in reality.  I am seeking a foundation at the bottom of all the things he is revealing to start from and haven’t reached it yet.  Part of me senses I never will until I leave the body.  As I go down layers and layers, the things we are taught on Sunday externally become more and more ridiculous.  Now, I know why Jesus talked in parables to most.  If he didn’t, they would stop listening entirely (as they didn’t “have ears to hear”) and would not hear the words of truth at all that will (eventually) save them.  Only the righteous as God declared would hear the truth but that comes from within a person and meets the words and thoughts that come from the external man and world.  This is the battle of the flesh (outer) against the Spirit (inner).  This internal, single truth IS Christ.  Only he can feed us life inside as he peels away the darkness of the external and reveals the hidden life inside the ideas, concepts and thoughts coming from the outer “Words” of truth.  This is the father who works on the outer man drawing us to Christ who is in the inner man.  The father is everywhere but is hidden inside the darkness of the realm of the shadow.

So, today, I want to share some very powerful things I have been hearing regarding “Lazarus”.  Who exactly is or was Lazarus?   We know that he was the brother of Martha and Mary.  They lived in Bethany and that Jesus loved all three of them.

Were they actual people in human bodies?

They could have been, but that wouldn’t have been the true (hidden) story God wanted us to know.  That would have been the story for external, religious man to create a set of rules, creeds and religious doctrines to follow as well as shrines and buildings to worship.  They would miss Christ (truth) who is hidden.

Were they simply parables or cute “bedtime stories” for children or myths/fables to smile and laugh about?

This I would have to adamantly disagree.

Were they revealing the very nature of the righteous and unrighteous of this current world and where they will go when they die?

YES!  I am convinced of this and I think it would do us very good to pay attention closely to what God is revealing to us here.  It is very important that we correctly understand who the “righteous” and the “unrighteous” are.  It has NOTHING to do with what they do or don’t do.

It’s only in what they believe inside.  It’s 100% about faith.  And true faith ALWAYS manifests deeds no matter what the consequences.  When God speaks to you and reveals you the truth, you WILL act no matter what.  It is IMPOSSIBLE for you to NOT act when God speaks as every Word he speaks IS truth and MUST happen.  It’s impossible for them NOT to.  We so often forget that  God himself is at work inside us and he is UNSTOPPABLE!

An unrighteous person (who does not have faith) will always be focused on the external man, sin, and the religious “doing to become” actions of the external man.  This unrighteous person that we are all inside of, (some alive and some dead) has to die so the true righteous person inside (who IS Christ!) is revealed.  The righteous person inside will ALWAYS act when God speaks to him.  He IS God’s son Jesus.  He is constantly killing the external man who is the very FLESH of Christ.  This is what Jesus meant when he said “unless you eat my flesh (and drink my blood) you have no life in you”.  Our true being of our INNER man is “eating” or killing the outer man or the flesh of Jesus.  This is the swallowing up of “death” of the external man by the “life” of the internal man!  The internal man is “Mary” who “sits at the feet of Jesus” and just listens to his words. The external man is Martha who is always working, striving and trying to “reach God”.  Martha even reprimands Jesus when he doesn’t make the righteous internal man (Mary) get up and “start working”!

What is Jesus answer?

but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her Luke 10:42

How many things are necessary?  Which part has “Mary” our internal soul chosen?

Are you finding rest in Christ or are you tired out from external religious activity?  (If you aren’t, it’s important to know that Jesus loves BOTH Mary AND Martha.  See John 11:5!)

Sorry, that was not the topic I am trying to share, but was just “going with the flow” that comes from within.

So, let’s go on and share some things about their “brother” Lazarus whom Jesus loves.  I wrote these down after awaking this morning.  I heard much of this before I woke up from sleep.  Please listen with your heart as if you were listening to your teenager to see if there is “truth it the words”.  I can tell you, they fed me life. I want to share that life (who is Christ) with you!

I have been hearing from within the following: Mary is the believer’s (inner) or “true” soul who “rests at the feet of Jesus” and Martha is the unbeliever’s soul or the outer soul/man who is compelled UNDER LAW to work all the time.  Our soul is actually divided into an “inner man” and an “outer man” and God uses women to represent man’s soul in the Bible until the person dies and is reborn as a “male” or “man” who is above in a higher realm altogether.  In all these realms, “Inner” is in a higher realm than the “outer” which is lower and darker under more law which produces the drive to want to “work” or create “self effort”.  Two always work together as “brothers” (spirits or “male”) or “sisters” (souls or “female”) with one “above” the realm divider or “firmament” and one below.  This is why when Christ returns, ONE will be taken and “one will be left”.  Matthew 24:20, Luke 17:34  This is when he truly separates the righteous from the unrighteous until the end-time judgment. If a soul is placed under one of the covenants of law or grace, “she” becomes “married” to her “husband” above who is either Jesus for the righteous or his servant Lucifer for the unrighteous.  Lucifer himself is also Satan and he himself IS sin and the source of ALL sin.  God knows this as he created him and uses him for his purposes – to keep people under law and bondage until they “die enough to be born again” as the true person they are deep inside.  God knows all sin is really from Satan and is HIS sin and not the persons.  That is why God calls him the “father of sin”.  Sorry for the sermon there, I only want the truth to be know so the people can be SET FREE from the false religious doctrines the Bible directly refutes!

Back to the parable of Lazarus in Luke 16.  It would be a good idea to review it and think about it before going on.  Here’s a link.

http://legacy.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+16&version=NASB

It is a good idea to read the WHOLE chapter. It ALL goes together even the parts about “divorce” that we think are not related.  They are!  God is revealing the hidden mystery of TRUE husband and wife in our spirit and soul.  The true spirit of man is the “husband” (Satan or Christ) and the TRUE “wife” is man’s soul.   One is “The man” (spirit) and one is “Adam AND Eve” (soul).  This may sound confusing, but like I said, our soul is SPLIT into an UPPER part (Adam) and a lower part called “Eve”.  Sadly, “Eve” will die, but she is “pregnant” with “birth pangs” and she will birth the whole new creation within us and all things.

Ok, let’s try to get to the parable again.

Could the “rich man” be the body of the unbeliever?  This is what I wrote after waking this AM based on my thoughts.  I have been spending immense time quietly studying the Word and can’t make the “connections” myself often. God has to put them together and it happens often when I am sleeping and about to wake.

Yes! I just woke up hearing about Lazarus and the “rich man”. The “rich man” are the wealthy people (Kings) of this current world who don’t truly trust Jesus but instead trust their own efforts and riches. When they die, they will descend to Hades (the “grave”) and be under law, darkness and gloom. There is also a place called “Abrahams bosom” or “paradise” where “Lazarus” is and he is being taken care of and comforted. They are separated by an expanse or impassible gap. These two are also the two that are on the cross beside Jesus. One repents and one doesn’t.

Also, at the end of the age, one will be raised to a separate “age of” (not everlasting or forever!) contempt and shame and the other to everlasting (forever!) life.

This is very telling. I pray you are in a quiet place and have your good Bible translation available along with your journal to write what you hear from within.

“Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. 20 And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores, 21 and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man’s table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores. 22 Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried.  Luke 16:19-31

No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.  John 1:18

If you study and think about who “Abraham” is, you will realize he is the father himself.  Paul confirms this in Romans when he says “Abraham is the father of us all”. The natural mind dismisses this by saying “he only means the Jews”.  Not true.  Paul is talking about ALL mankind.  “Abraham” is the father and God of all things himself.  The father has a place for the righteous in “Abraham’s bosom” and a place for the “rich man”. Notice the rich man died and was buried. Why “buried” vs. “carried away”? Look at Matthew 27:61. What do the “two Mary’s” see the body being put into?

Was it a “tomb” or a “grave”?  My friend, they are NOT the same!

This will be very powerful if you see it. Look at the following verses:

When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who himself had also become a disciple of Jesus. 58 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him. 59 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, 60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock; and he rolled a large stone against the entrance of the tomb and went away. 61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the grave.  Matthew 27:57-61

Do you see it my friend?

Joseph put the body of Jesus in a “tomb”, but the “two Mary’s” were sitting opposite the “grave”. These are NOT the same thing, but God hid this from our eyes! God is VERY precise. 100% and if something is not exactly the same, it’s a different thing entirely. Good and evil do NOT mix at all. Thus, there are two separate places where the righteous and the unrighteous go. One is the “tomb of the rich man – Abraham’s bosom (or “paradise”) for the righteous and the other one is “the grave” or hades for the unrighteous. Also, see Luke 23:39-43 as you will see these two types of people being crucified (dying) with Jesus. One truly repents and one doesn’t. One ends up in paradise or “Abraham’s bosom” and one doesn’t.  So, looking at this, where does “TRUE repentance” occur?  At the cross when you are truly dying!  Have you truly DIED my friend or have you had a “decent” life, good things or even “abundance”?  I am telling  you the easier this life is, the harder it is to truly repent and “die”.

Also, “Abraham’s bosom” is also “a garden”. Sound familiar?  Could this be related to the entire “garden” scene in Genesis 3?  YES!  Does “3” ring a bell?  What “hour” was Jesus crucified? If you said “6” you would only be partially correct.  “6” is the hour of man where only his SOUL was crucified with man.  This is our current “soul” life in the natural body.  See Mark 15:25 and you will see that JESUS himself who is our SPIRIT man was actually crucified in the THIRD hour.  “3” is very important as is the “3rd” chapter of Genesis.  Please go and review when Jesus was crucified in the “3rd hour” or “3rd chapter” of Genesis.   Do you see how this is telling us the SAME story only one is under law (Old Testament) and one is under grace (New Testament)?

Freaky isn’t it!

Yes, when we see Jesus and the father from our outer man, we will FREAK out and be very afraid at first.  I believe this is the first appearance of Jesus himself coming to the OUTSIDE and APPEARING with the clouds.  He is mounting on his donkey right now about to “descend” the hill into “Jericho” as only Luke tells us.

Want more freakiness?

What hour was the “soul” of Jesus crucified?  This is the book of Luke (he writes about the soul realm). It starts the 6th hour and goes through the 9th hour.  Now, we know what the number 6 really is – the hour of natural man who turns evil (under law) and persecutes and kills the Lord until the “9th hour” when the Lord’s body finally dies.  Think about this.

Now, go to Chapters “6” through “9” of Genesis and WATCH THESE SAME EVENTS OCCUR UNDER LAW only from a much bigger scale.  Jesus is called “Noah”.  First God tells us how unrighteous man has become on the “face” of the Earth, then he makes a covenant with “Noah” (Jesus) and puts all of “Noah’s family” in the “ark” or body of Jesus. They float “above” while the “waters” fill the Earth during chapters 6 through 8.  Finally, on chapter “9” or “hour 9” the flood is done and the flood has finished it’s work below.  “Noah” is released from the Ark onto “dry land”.

Do you see it my friend?

How can these things be?

This is where God blows us out of the water and destroys our natural way of thinking.  He is OUTSIDE OF time and space and ANY part of the Bible can occur at ANY TIME he wants it to. We make the mistake of thinking the Bible is a LINEAR book with the events in order of time.  NOT TRUE!  I am convinced that a LARGE portion of the entire Bible has YET to be carried out in space and time.  Much of it is in the future yet.  I could prove this with many scriptures, but only to those who really believe the Bible is 100% true and God’s Word.

Here is one.  Did you know that according to Matthew and Mark, Jesus body is STILL ON THE CROSS?

YES!  Look at Romans 8:1.

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus Romans 8:1

The word for “now” is the Greek word “nyn”.  It is Strong’s #3568 and it means at this exact, PRESENT moment in time.  Look at the definition below.

http://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?Strongs=G3568&t=KJV

So, you do you believe that word mean’s right this moment as you are reading this?  If you do, great!

Now, look at this.  That is the SAME word used in THESE verses:

“He saved others; He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him Matthew 27:42

Let this Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him Mark 15:32

Guess what word is used for “now”?  That’s right!  The same word as Romans 8:1!   According to Matthew and Mark, the body of Jesus is STILL on the cross. I believe this and that is why the outer man is dying.  Crazy, huh?

Because we don’t take God’s Word as literally true we can’t see these things.  This is also why there are so many apparent contradictions in the written Word.  It’s all 100% TRUE and GOD can’t LIE, but it simply has not yet appeared in space and time yet.  God is telling us both “then” of the Spirit which could be ANY TIME and “now” which is the current age or even current moment.  I could even show you some powerfully amazing things if anyone is interested in finding the REAL truth. But, it is SHOCKING and you will have to let go of all the false RELIGIOUS doctrines you have been taught and are engrained into our minds.  Sorry, my friend, the truth DOES set you free, but only after it KILLS your false outer man and all the religious deceptions we are steeped in.  There is much DEATH to be waded through in truth before we find LIFE.  But, boy is it worth it.

If you are a religious person and dismiss these things, that is no problem.  However, you have to have an answer for the following (if you are a teacher of current religious doctrines).  Many will begin questioning these things and if your answer isn’t suffice they will stop listening to you.  I believe the Lord is starting to share the answers with the “unknowns” of the world.  Why?  I don’t know.  Probably because I am a nobody and only the REAL truth seekers will listen to my words and investigate them.  God uses the “foolish things of the world to confound the wise”.

I hope you will investigate these things.  If you outright reject my CRAZY ideas without looking into them, then you will have to be able to answer the following:

Compare theses verses. Who was searching for Jesus?

In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. 36 Simon and his companions searched for Him; 37 they found Him, and *said to Him, “Everyone is looking for You.” 38 He *said to them, “Let us go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may preach there also; for that is what I came for.” 39 And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons.  Mark 1:35-39

When day came, Jesus left and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were searching for Him, and came to Him and tried to keep Him from going away from them. 43 But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.”  Luke 4:42-43

Why does it say two different answers in the above verses?

When did Jesus say this? Or are these the words of John the Baptist?

To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. 4 Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:3-5

See Matthew 3:11. Who is speaking? Do the red words above appear anywhere else?

I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  Matthew 3:11

Are Jesus and John the same person somehow?

Did John recognize Jesus or not? In John 1, John is told to look for the one whom “you see the Spirit descending upon” that is the one who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.

The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is He on behalf of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’ 31 I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water.” 32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God.”  John 1:29-34

PROBLEM 1:

Then Jesus *arrived from Galilee at the Jordan coming to John, to be baptized by him. 14 But John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?” 15 But Jesus answering said to him, “Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he *permitted Him. 16 After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, 17 and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”  Matthew 3:13-17

According to Matthew 3:16, the Spirit does NOT descend upon Jesus until AFTER he is baptized. So, John would NOT know who Jesus is until after the Spirit descends according to John 1:33.

PROBLEM 2:

John ALREADY knows him when he arrives in Matthew 3:14 and tries to prevent him from being baptized. The religious man had no answer for this. Jesus does, if you know him.
Question: After the betrayal, did Peter follow Jesus into the courtyard of the High priest or did he stop at the gate?

Peter had followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers and warming himself at the fire Mark 14:54

Right into the courtyard, right? Let’s see what John says.

Simon Peter was following Jesus, and so was another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered with Jesus into the court of the high priest, 16 but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the doorkeeper, and brought Peter in John 18:15-16

What gives? Did Peter follow him into the courtyard or was he standing at the door outside?

Question: Where is a prophet not without honor? Let’s see what Jesus says himself.

(For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own hometown.) John 4:44

In his own hometown, right? Jesus testified this himself and he can’t lie, can he?

Look at what Matthew says.

And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household.” Matthew 13:57

Now Jesus said in Matthew in his own household too. What gives? Now, let’s see what Jesus says in Mark.

And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” Mark 6:4

Wow! What is going on here? Jesus is giving us 3 DIFFERENT answers!?!  Do you know why?  IF you are a teacher of current Christian religious doctrine, you WILL have to have an answer for these things and there are MANY more.

Question: Who did Christ appear to first?

Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. 6 After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7 then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; 8 and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God 1 Corinthians 15:1-9

According to Paul it was Cephas (Peter) first and then the twelve. Is that what it says at the end of the gospels?

[Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. 10 She went and reported to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning and weeping. 11 When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they refused to believe it Mark 16:9-11

Mark says it was Mary Magdalene and yet Luke 24:34 says it was Simon he first appeared to.  Why does what Paul say differ from what Mark says which is different from Luke?  Or is this not important?  I think it is if you need to believe the Bible is the Word of God and you need to believe it is true.  At least for me that is how I think.

Here is one more and there are HUNDREDS of them.

How many disciples were there after Jesus death?

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came John 20:24

According to John 20:24 just after the death of Jesus, there were twelve, right?

But wait, look at these verses.

But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated Matthew 28:16

Afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen Mark 16:14

and returned from the tomb and reported all these things to the eleven and to all the rest Luke 24:9

And they got up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found gathered together the eleven and those who were with them Luke 24:33

But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words Acts 2:14

Is it eleven or twelve?

Again, let me remind you that personally, I am 100% certain that the Bible IS God’s Word and he can’t lie.  It’s impossible. But, there is a powerful and amazing reason for all the contradictions.  I’d LOVE to dig into it with anyone who is really seeking the truth.  Contact me.

There is a lot of meat here, so please take some time to digest this.  I haven’t written in a while online so I have a LOT to let out. This is very deep, hidden and powerful truth of God he is revealing to us. Let’s praise him for it when he opens our eyes to see!

Now that I am sure I wore you out, should we get to our topic about “Lazarus”?

In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you will not be able, and that none may cross over from there to us.’ 27 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house— 28 for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham *said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Notice that Abraham told the rich man that his 5 brothers had “Moses and the prophets”. That would make 6 total. Look at the generations of Adam on the side of Cain. How many levels are there not counting the last layer of children? There are 6. Could these be the generations of the external man who are the “tares”? I believe so. I also believe we are currently in the last version of the tare or the natural body who is “Lamech” or number “6”. Notice “Lamech” has two wives? Could this be an external picture of Christ who “made the two (believer/wife1 and unbeliever/wife2, righteous and unrighteous) into one new man”? Ephesians 2:15 I believe it is.

Now, notice what the rich man was told. “They have Moses and the Prophets”. What does this mean? It’s very important to help identify who this parable is referring to.

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John; since that time the gospel of the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it Luke 16:16

Jesus told us that “Moses and the Prophets were until John“. Since that time, the Kingdom of Heaven has been proclaimed. These are Old Testament people, both the righteous in “Lazarus” and the unrighteous in “the rich man”.  However, don’t make the mistake of thinking the “old testament” is a LONG time ago. It’s not!   ALL PEOPLE who don’t yet believe the TRUE Gospel are under law and this IS the Old Testament.  This is still most of our current world.  There’s a LOT of work to do sharing the true gospel.

If the rich man’s brothers have “the law and the prophets” and Jesus says that “the law and the prophets” were proclaimed until John and since John the Kingdom of God has been preached, this means only one thing.

These are people who are under the Old Testament or law. They follow and teach the teachings of Moses and the prophets but don’t believe them. They are the unrighteous who are trying to fulfill the law themselves. They will end up in the heat of Hades with the rich man under gloom, darkness and deeper law (death) until the time God allows them to repent. On the other hand, there are the ones who had it very hard in their life but God gave them faith to believe the true gospel called “the kingdom of God” which was preached through JOHN. These are the righteous. Both are still waiting in their separated areas until the final resurrection to judgment. One is in a part of heaven called “paradise” (see that word, it mean’s “garden”) and the other “below” in the grave or hades.

Which one are you?

My opinion is this: If you are fully trusting Christ for your righteousness and not trying to do anything of yourself to obtain any righteousness, then I believe you are hearing from Jesus.  You also know that you have NO sin because Jesus TOOK IT ALL away!  The unrighteous do NOT know this yet.   Also, I do strongly urge you to separate yourself from all the standardly accepted doctrines and teachings of the Christian religion and spend a lot of time with a good, literal translation of the Bible such as the NASB or ESV (more literal translation) and listen for Christ INSIDE you as he speaks to you. Start journaling what you see and hear. Ask God any question you ever wanted and listen to your thoughts. He is speaking and answering all the time, but his voice sounds just like all our other thoughts.  He will at times feed you DEATH in your outer man so that you can share in the LIFE of Christ within.  He HAS to dismantle the religious strongholds that keep us in the bondage of the outer man if we want to share in the life of Jesus.

I praise the father for speaking to me these things as I was waking up this morning. Perhaps soon as he permits, I can share what I am hearing about who John really is. The things I hear are very shocking, but parts of the Bible that have been skipped over and ignored for centuries are beginning to come clear.

God bless you my friend in your journey to Christ.
