Who will we believe… Man or God?

Today, I am asking the question: Should we believe man or God?

Man tells us this (is what God said) in Ezekiel 14:21:

For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? Ezekiel 14:21 KJV

or

“For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments–sword and famine and wild beasts and plague–to kill its men and their animals! Ezekiel 14:21 NIV

Let’s see the actual original Hebrew words God gave us and read them ourselves directly.

If you read the actual specific words from left to right they say:

That thus he-say my-Lord Yahweh indeed that four-of judgments-of me the-evil-ones sword and-famine and-animal evil and-plague I-send to Jerusalem to-to-cut-off-of from-her human (Name “Adam”) and-beast.

These words are quite different, aren’t they?  Do you see the word “evil” in any of the translations we are given by man?   It isn’t in there, the word was completely ignored.  The Lord clearly calls his judgments “the-evil-ones” but we don’t see that in the translations we are given.  Why not?

So, who should we believe?   Man’s version or God’s words?

Could this be why Jesus said these powerful words?

“For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it Matt 7:14

The original words here say:

that cramped The Gate and having-been-constricted the way the one-leading-away into the Life and Few are the ones-finding her  Matt 7:14 from WLC codex

I find it interesting that Life is a “her”.   Ponder 1 Tim 2:15.  Is it possible that we are the “woman”.. namely God’s woman or his “bride”?  1 Cor 11:3, Eph 5:23

So, who will you believe?

Man’s words or God’s?  Who has the words of life?  John 6:68

We all have a decision to make.  May he guide your choice to please him.
